For the bakery I can’t seem to stop going to – one post isn’t sufficient to declare my love for the art they create from flour. Not exaggerating in a bit, especially when it’s crowned the best bakery in Fukuoka City by the Tabelog community, and they treat my every visit as though I’m coming home (いってらしゃい). 3 courses and a dessert is how every hearty meal runs, my Pain Stock curation being a ratatouille-stuffed egg sandwich for starters, the first main of tuna gratine atop a wonderfully crispy baguette followed by an avocado and prawn sandwich (ultimate favourite!!!), and rounding off with an almond croissant packed with beautifully tart blueberry compote. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I leave…this place is just going to make even more dreamlike memories of these past 10 months when I go home, for sure. But worrying is for later, I’ll just eat more while I can.
